Construction work on the Erie Street project began Monday 6/6, and has been proceeding at a steady pace! After pulling up the old street and moving out material, heavy construction equipment unfortunately caused a water main break. City Officials are currently working with Bolton & Menk Engineers to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and make lasting improvements to the City's water infrastructure.
In order to efficiently resolve the water main break, the project will require slightly a extended construction area sooner than expected.
Starting tomorrow (6/9), the road closure will be extended into the Erie/6th Street intersection.
